The Vascular Birthmarks Foundation (VBF) is an international nonprofit organization that supports families affected by vascular birthmarks, such as hemangiomas, port wine stains and venous malformations and networks them to treatment. Raising money for this foundation is important to me because I was born with a lower lip hemangioma. While mine was not life threatening, it required multiple corrective surgeries over the course of my young life. It is vital for those who suffer from vascular birthmarks to have VBF as their support system to not only avoid feeling isolated and alone, but also to have a group that fights for innovative research and treatment, specialized doctors and proper insurance coverage, among other initiatives. Your donation is so impactful to these families who are struggling and so appreciated by everyone associated with this foundation, and every dollar donated will go directly to the VBF to carry out their mission.
